Best approach to export large size dam content packages from one environment to another environment

Hi,

We have been managing digital asset using DAM .Please suggest best practice to export/import packages  from one environment to another environment when pkg size is larger.

When ever  we have to upload new bunch of assets we are now building in one environment and uploading in higher environment which is very much time consuming though package size is keep on increasing.currently we are doing this process from package manager.

Regards,

Patty.

Hi Patty,

there was a similar thread recently: http://help-forums.adobe.com/content/adobeforums/en/experience-manager-forum/adobe-experience-manage...

In which possible tools were vlt rcp, and tools from Time Warner:

Also, how big are the content packages that you need to transfer?

Are you transferring all the content each time. As the higher environment may already some of the data.

Just checking to make sure you disable DAM workflows when importing large amounts of DAM assets.
