I have a jar file of AEM 6.5. I created the two instances (author and publish) but when I start the jar file the crx quickstart folder is created, with only the "logs" folder inside, and an empty "upgrade" notepad file.
I have the latest Java and Maven versions on my Windows 11.
Can anyone help me? I can't start AEM from my pc.

Hi @bb47 ,
Have you upgraded your windows to 11 recently and post that you are facing the issue? I mean is the JAR working fine on other versions?
If yes, then try some settings changes to boost windows 11.

It was working fine on Win11. My machine is new.
I attempted to create a new instance in a separate folder and neither instances work.
*Didn't mean to mark this as the correct answer. Problem still happening.
You can take a look into this https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/running-aem-65-jdk-11-asutosh-jena/
Resolved my issue. Had a different version of Java on my machine. (My company must have done an auto-update). Once that was installed and pointed the jar to the correct version, everything started working.
