Hi all,
Anyone used these Adobe Features which is related to assets?
1: Connected Assets
2: Dynamic Media Cloud Services in Scene7 mode
If used, for what purpose? what are the pros and cons of using these features? What are the use cases that you have come across?

Hi @Mahesh_Gunaje ,
Connected Assets is used when you want to share a central DAM across multiple AEM Sites instances. It avoids duplicating assets, ensures brand consistency, and saves storage. The trade-off is setup complexity and some performance dependency on the connection between instances.
Dynamic Media (Scene7 mode) is used to deliver optimized, responsive, and interactive images/videos (resize, crop, zoom, spin sets, adaptive streaming) directly from the cloud. It gives great performance and rich media experiences but comes with extra licensing costs and integration overhead.
companies use Connected Assets for governance and a single source of truth, while Dynamic Media is chosen for high-performance, rich customer experiences on e-commerce or marketing sites.
@RahulAdobe@AbhishekBa could you please have a look at this?
Thanks @kautuk_sahni for your quick action
Let me elaborate my above query
Long back, one of the clients asked our team to keep the video in AEM dam. (were just using AEM hosted on AMS) and to display the video
in one of the AEM page. We came to know that, entire video will load during the page load time. This will cause the page performance.
Later, client used 3rd party provider to save the video and AEM uses just the link of the video.
So, wants to know more about AEM offerings(may be from AEMasCS, AMS or just from AEMasCS) related to assets(image, video, docs) to cover different client requirements.
1: Lots of authors across regions will upload huge assets to AEM DAM.
2: Will use their own softwares to upload images to AEM
3: Authors wants to utilize the images uploaded from EMEA region in some some other region(to avoid duplicate uploading of assets)
and the list goes on.
Thanks in advance.
