Assets are not getting activated when we trigger "Request for Activation" workflow on a page using "Start Workflow" Option

Hi,

When we trigger "Request for Activation" workflow on a page using "Start Workflow" option, the assets authored on the page are not getting published but all other content getting published.

Any idea what could be the issue.?

Hi,

When we activate a page from the sites console or from the page editor in touch optimized UI, it looks for any references that need publishing. If there are any references present that need publishing, they are listed in the publish wizard and then the author can choose what to publish along with the page.

While activating a page through 'Request for Activation' workflow, its the 'ActivatePageProcess' that comes into picture (ActivatePageProcess ("The Adobe AEM Quickstart and Web Application.") ). It doesn't check the references to be published.

  Sounds events are exhausted & causing the issue.   Or some home wrong resourcetype set at /etc/workflow/instances
