Hey,

Are there any plans to support React 19 for headless adaptive forms?

Hi @BillIn,

React 19 has been recently released, and the current applications within AEM that utilize React are primarily on version 18. There is no indication of any major breaking changes with React 19, but it introduces new form-related features that could impact the handling of forms and state management in existing applications.

A review process is underway to ensure compatibility with React 19 before any upgrade is pursued. This includes checking existing components and libraries and building tools to align with the new version.

The React Starter Kit for AEM Headless Forms has been updated to support authenticated AEM users and now uses the new af-core APIs. These updates enhance integration with AEM and provide a more secure interaction with AEM resources. This suggests a move towards aligning with newer React versions over time, though specific updates to React 19 were not explicitly mentioned in the current release.

Thanks
Pranay
