Allowed component in parsys is not working

Avatar

Level 1

I am working with static template.

I have component contact-form which contains parsys with path='par'. I am adding this component on another parsys which is present in homepage. Now requirement is to allow specific components on contact-form parsys.

I have created page inside etc/design, please see below screenshot for reference.

Hi @shubham_gosewade ,

Are you using editable templates, if yes configure the allowed components from the template/component policies.

If no, probably because AEM doesn't know which components to allow on your parsys. Please check the following links on how to do it in design mode and how to do it in xml format in the design of your project

  1. Configuring Components in Design Mode
  2. cq5 - Restrict the components in AEM 5.6.1 - Stack Overflow
  3. https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager/aem-6-3-not-add-component-...
  4. https://devticks.com/allowing-specific-components-on-containers-adobe-experience-manager-aem-8f360c1...

Hope this is helpful.

Regards,

Santosh
