We are having Acrolinx v3.1.1 integrated in AEMaaCS. Our content team is facing some challenges where all the issue details with all technical details are mentioned below.
Product: Acrolinx for AEM
Version: 3.1.1
AEM Version: AEMaaCS (Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service)
Environment: Production Author Instance
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
ISSUE SUMMARY:
We are experiencing three critical issues with Acrolinx for AEM 3.1.1 that prevent
our Content Team from performing bulk content quality assessments.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
ISSUE #1: Acrolinx Column Not Available in Sites Console List View
────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:
- Navigate to AEM Sites console.
- Switch to List View
- Click View Settings (gear icon) → Columns
- "Acrolinx Score" column should be available to select
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR:
- The Acrolinx column is NOT present in the available columns list
- Cannot view Acrolinx scores for multiple pages simultaneously
- This prevents bulk content quality auditing
IMPACT: High - Content team cannot assess content quality at scale
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
ISSUE #2: Acrolinx Column Incorrectly Appears in Assets Console
────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:
- Navigate to AEM Assets (DAM): /assets.html/content/dam/
- Acrolinx column should NOT appear (Acrolinx only applies to Pages, not assets)
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR:
- "ACROLINX SCORE" column IS visible in Assets list view
- This is confusing for users as Acrolinx doesn't evaluate DAM assets
- Column appears but shows no scores (as expected for assets)
IMPACT: Medium - Causes user confusion and clutters Assets interface
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
ISSUE #3: Acrolinx Score Check Stalls from Sites Console
────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:
- In Sites console list view, select a page
- Click "Acrolinx" button in toolbar
- Score should be calculated and displayed within reasonable time
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR:
- Modal dialog appears: "Acrolinx is checking. Please reload the page to see the results."
- Dialog never auto-dismisses
- User must manually reload page
- Score often doesn't appear even after reload
IMPACT: High - Forces users to open each page in edit mode individually
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
WORKAROUND (CURRENTLY USING):
Individual page-level Acrolinx scoring works correctly when pages are
opened in edit mode. However, this is inefficient for bulk assessments.
