Hi All,

I'm able to find search guide for AEM 6.3. I'm search for similar guide for 6.2 but couldn't find it.

if anyone has a link for 6.2, could you please share with me? I'm looking mainly if AEM 6.2 Lucene search will provide similar 6.3 features.

We are evaluating AEM search with Lucene,

is there is any documentation for best practices for setting/configuring search with Lucene?

Also, if we use in-built Lucene with AEM, do we see any performance issues in AEM as indices will be creating in the same AEM repository.

Thanks.

Hi,

Here is a Link explaining Oak queries and Lucene Indexes: Oak Queries and Indexing

For details on Suggestions, Analyzers, Boosting etc, please refer Jackrabbit Oak – Lucene Index

AEM 6.2 uses Apache Jackrabbit Oak 1.4.1 while AEM 6.3 uses Apache Jackrabbit Oak 1.6.1.

AEM lucene search in 6.2 does provide similar 6.3 features.

Hope this helps!
