AEM Language Translation

Avatar

Level 7

Hi,

AEM is being shipped with Microsoft Language Translator OOB.

But I heard that  it is limited in terms of number of translations and so, there is a need to integrate with a Language Translator commercially.

Is this true?

Could we use the OOB Microsoft Language Translator and go live, for a huge volume of translations?

Thanks,

Rama.

As mentioned by Kendall, Microsoft Translator is for sample configuration (TRIAL LICENSE CONFIGURATION).

No you can not go live with the trial license.

What is shipped is a Microsoft Translator Trial License for a sample configuration.  This is a free subscription that allows for 2 000 000 translated characters per month.

See https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/administer/sites/translation/tc-msconf.html

Please open a new question instead of adding this to an already answered question.

When you do so, please provide the context for your question - more details such as the AEM version you're using, how you created the site, and how you enabled the trial translation for your site.
