aem components copy and paste edit mode

Hi ,

I am trying to copy and paste components in author edit mode , but i am not always getting the paste option. The behavior is not consistent. Is there any such existing issue with AEM 6.2. Please do let me know.

    Are you working in Classic View or TOuch UI View?

    Never heard about this.

    Can you please check it this in the fresh instance, is it reproducible there?

    Is it happening with OOTB component or custom component?

    This is happening for custom components as well as OOTB components.

    But I cannot replicate it in the fresh instance.

    1 .Make you have proper configs in editconfig

    2. Someone would have added custom action which might be causing the issue

    and if its even happening with OOTB components, share component name and steps to reproduce

      Hi,

      Considering you are not author. so you can check in CRXDE and in your component level editConfig node as suggested by Praveen.

      check if any custom actions defined for it. as far as I know there is no issue in 6.2 for it.

      Also till that time you can make use of parsys to include.
