AEM cloud, how to get access to New Relic? (NOT SOLVED)

Avatar

Level 9

The Adobe Sales person indicated that new relic was part of the AEM cloud product we have purchased.   We have access to the dev cloud author instance, but we cant find any mention of how we access NR.

Does anyone know how we access the AEM NR control panel?

UPDATE:

This is NOT solved, so should not have been marked as solved.

Adobe have now said that they have pulled new relic, and, although it was promised in writing, they cant provide it.  They now provide no monitoring nor log searching solution. This is in direct contrast with say EPiSever cloud which comes out of the box with Application insights for monitoring, log searching, client statistics, live server metrics and health.  AEM provides nothing.

you can create account with your company email id in new relic: https://newrelic.com/signup?via=login

and send request to your AMS (Adobe Manager Services) support to enable the access.

Thanks, this is helpful. Is AMS support the same as the support button at the top of https://adminconsole.adobe.com/ ?

I contacted Adobe support via adminconsole.adobe.com. They said I require a "ECC id for New Relic Company". As we dont know what this is, Adobe said we should contact the original Adobe sales person, which we dont know either.

This is not an accepted solution. Please un mark it as accepted solution.  Who marked it as accepted?

if you give your company email id - AMS will enable the new relic access, this is the same process , we generally follow. You can ask your AMS, what is ECC id and the process to get it.

"AMS will enable the new relic access". Sadly, they wont. We have created a ticket in admincosole.adobe.com (we dont know what AMS is), but they have said that new relic is no longer availble. We have contacted the adobe sales person who promised us that it is included, and they are now saying Adobe have withdrawn New Relic. So we have no way to monitor any requests or responses hitting AEM. Its a disaster. Episerver cloud comes with Application Insights out of the box, with a fully integrated solution.

Hi, I am sorry that you are in that trouble with this. But if an Adobe sales rep promised NR access to you which cannot be fulfilled, please check back with that Adobe rep and escalate this topic. But it's nothing the AEM forums can help you with it. And "AMS" means "Adobe Managed Service".

I wish you the best,
