AEM 6.1: java.io.IOException: tmpFile.renameTo(classFile) failed

Hello everyone,

my question/problem is that everytime I start up a new instance I get the following error:

java.io.IOException: tmpFile.renameTo(classFile) failed

Also when I start up a new instance sometimes the sidebar is missing (at /projects.html), sometimes the default projects don't show up (also at /projects.html) and so on...but it only occurs with AEM 6.1. AEM 5.6.1 and AEM 6.0 are working fine!

Does anybody have the same problem? Perhaps a solution for me?

What OS?  What JDK?

Please go through this post:-

//Clear/Delete whole directory and try it like vanilla instance.

2. Secondly try one more thing, Disable McAfee anti-virus real-time scanning.

1. day care ticket will be created
2. OS is Windows 7 Enterprise, Service Pack 1, 64-bit; JDK is at version 1.8.0_77
3. I've cleared the whole directory before but without success.
