Hello Community,
I am running into an issue where a certain image is looking crisp within my iPad but when testing on Android it looks super blurry. I'm using DPS 2015.
The image I'm referencing is the gentleman's picture top right corner.
Ipad:
Android:
I have made sure that the overlay is set to Raster and the image itself is set to 72dpi..not sure why there is such a discrepancy between the devices and was curious if someone had any idea what i could try?
Thanks!

Hi Bob,
We converted the image into a button pointing at its own state, i think this may have stripped any overlay settings that may have been affecting it as its showing up crispy as breakfasts bacon
Thank you for looking into our issue.
Thanks!

Moved to DPS forum.
The image should be at least 108 PPI if you're using PDF folios.

thanks for the reply Bob.
We got the original file and verified it at 120 DPI and we used this to test. Unfortunately it still looks blurry. It does look amazing in iOS but Android refuses to look any different. Thoughts?

What is the effective resolution? What model iPad? What Android device? Is this the native viewer for Android?

We have an new image in place with a new effective PPI of 120 dimensions is 605x507 and the actual PPI is 120.
the image to the right has an effective ppi of 88 and a actual of 120.
On our iPad 2 it looks AMAZING but on Android its super fuzzy.
Android Samsung Galaxy Tab 4:(Nexus 9 appears the same)
we are out of ideas at this point

I wish you had specified that sooner. I’ll move this to the DPS 2015 forum.

Buttons get rasterized.

We had the entire MSO set as Raster so and our text was all inside scrollable text blocks with everything set to fit and turned off so we could make them vector. We are just happy it's working 😃
