If someone downloads the app but chooses not to 'opt-in' to data collection, what, if any, data is collected about their behaviour?

If someone downloads the app but chooses not to 'opt-in' to data collection, what, if any, data is collected about their behaviour?

‌as far as I know, nothing is collected if you opt out.

You don't HAVE to give them the "Opt In" option.  That's the developer's choice.  If you do not select to "Show the analytics opt-in dialogue", then the app will just automatically collect analytical data.

True but that is also a legal requirement (not only the developers choice) for some countries to offer that option to the readers, that's why we enabled that feature in App Builder. You opt out and we simply stop collecting data.

Note that even if you don't enable the opt-in prompt, all users can still go into the settings area for the app and turn off analytics data collection. The difference is they don't get asked about it on first launch.
