Create versions of language copies together with main page's version

Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary:	Quick creation of versions for page's language copies
Use-case:	Create versions for language copies directly from version creation dialogue
Current/Experienced Behavior:	When Content Author is creating page's version and page has language copies, there is no possibility to create versions of language copies of the page
Improved/Expected Behavior:	When Content Author is creating page's version and page has language copies, there is possibility to create versions of language copies of the page

There would be 2 parts to the implementation:

1. UI: Add a new checkbox to the Save Version dialog

2. Create your own implementation of "com.day.cq.wcm.core.impl.commands.CreateVersionCommand" Service.

Create versions of Language Copies based on the value of the checkbox sent.

3. Provide higher ranking to the custom implementation to take priority

We have already implemented solution with checkbox on our AEM CMS instances. Could you pease tell, how can I rank the idea higher and include in OOB features?

This has been reported to the engineering under the internal reference SITES-13705. The product team will triage this request to verify feasibility based on the prioritization model. This post will be updated according to the Jira request status.

@EvgeniaG, Reply from PM:  Versions should be created when content is modified. Once language copies are updated based on language source updates, those pages are then versioned (should be). If there are no content changes in language copies, versioning would appear to artificially inflate the version store.
