Using crx repository with renderPDF

We are looking to use the crx repository with the Forms and Output service in place of the LC repository.  We are on AEM Forms 6.5 JBoss.  When I tried replacing repository:// with crx:// in URLSpec.contentRootURI and set formQuery = lc/content/dam/formsanddocuments/TestForm65.xdp I get "ALC-FRM-001-035: Failed to load TemplateStream for FormQuery=/lc/content/dam/formsanddocuments/TestForm65.xdp from location URI =crx://".  I have tried everything between that formQuery and just TestForm65.xdp and always the same response.   How do I get this to work?
