Customizing Properties dialog for Folders in AEM DAM 5.6.1

All,

We have a requirement on adding a custom property("Description") in the Properties dialog for Folders in AEM DAM (5.6.1) , which is similar to Title field/Property where the user can enter the description for the folder.

Is there a way to edit the asset Property of a Folder in AEM DAM 5.6.1.

You can write a JCR OSGi service that uses the JCR API to modify this property.
