AEM 6.5.21: Images within List Items fail Acrobat accessibility check ("Other elements alternate text")

Hi there - I have yet another accessibility issue for you:

We are getting forms ready to comply w Federal DOJ new rule requiring "state and local governments with a population of 50,000 or more to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 Level AA (“WCAG 2.1 AA”) by April 24, 2026" (see https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2024/04/24/2024-07758/nondiscrimination-on-the-basis-of-disability-accessibility-of-web-information-and-services-of-state).

We develop forms in AEM Forms Designer v6.5.21. Once approved, we check accessibility using first the AEM Macro Accessibility Checker, and then Acrobat's accessibility checker.

I am attaching a mockup illustrating the issue. There are two Lists with two list items each:

In List1, List Item lib there is a simple image within the List Item. This image fails the accessibility check in Acrobat.

In List2, the image has been moved out to within the List (so out of the List Item). This image succeeds the accessibility check in Acrobat.

Any suggestions?
