AEM Workbench - How to customize render action profiles for adaptive forms in order to pass process variable like adaptive form url?

I am trying to customize an Adaptive Form Render action profile so that I can pass it adaptive form url dynamically through calls. I have created application in the workbench and copied Render Adaptive Form action profile from the Process Management folders and renamed it. Created formURL string (as input variable) and a TaskContext variables. Could not get it to work when this action profile with name "Custom" and referenced through Action profile setting for the render process. Workspace error "Operation Failed, - A server exception has occurred. Please refer server logs for details."

We looked at how we could enable dynamic CRX assets in a long-lived process earlier this year and the word from the forms team is this feature is currently not possible. It might be in the backlog for future releases. I like your approach though.
