Is it possible to pre populate a dropdown of the form on the backend side?
If yes, how? (without to create the property options on the jcr node)

the assets related to the sample are . IF you want to see it live on your system, please install tomcat on port 8080 and deploy the sampleRest.war file and then import the loanterm.zip and the DownloadedFormsPackage_926737633330900.zip into AEM using package manager
