Hi All,

We have a requirement to have Asset metadata Schema added with a RichText component with following features as one of the property fields:

  • Special characters
  • Superscript and Subscript
  • Spell checker
  • Source Edit

http://localhost:4502/mnt/overlay/dam/gui/content/metadataschemaeditor/schemalist.html?formPath=/con...

But, RTE functionality is not available in OOTB Metadata Schema. So we tried the following method to add RTE to metadata schema but found that the above functionalities are not available in that RTE.

Experiencing Adobe Experience Manager - Day CQ: AEM 62 - Touch UI Rich Text (RTE) in Asset Metadata ...

Is it possible to add RTE with above features to Assets metadata schema?

Note: We are using AEM 6.4.2.

Thank you,

Raam Akella

Hi @Raam AJ

RTE is not officially supported for such use-cases yet in Touch UI.

See Configure the Rich Text Editor

Hi hanishb17637780

Thank you for your response.

Is there any plans for RTE functionality to be available in any future releases? If so, could you please let me know.

Regards,

Raam Akella
