HTML5 animation embedded into a page

Avatar

Level 1

Hi all! I am pretty new to CQ5 and I could use a little help. My company currently uses GIFs to illustrate the content. I would like to move away from GIFS (heavy, bad quality) and use HTML5 animations instead. Right now I am trying to incorporate Adobe Edge output into a page. iframe works, however, the tech writers want it to be in the DAM - reusable. What are my options? Thank you all very much! Also, it would be nice to know if it's possible to attach (embed) an external JS and CSS to a single page in CQ5.

Moving this thread to AEM "Asstes" topic so to have better contextual experts have a look at this.
