Getting from a search result in AEM Assets to that asset's location in the Content Tree?

I'd like to go from a search result to the content tree because its position in the tree (or even the asset's path!) will tell me where the related material is on a separate ol-timey file server. I just had a stunning circular conversation with Bard about this, ending with the feature I am looking for has been moved twice, and then removed altogether in recent AEM versions.

I would like it to navigate to the Content Tree to browse, but I guess I'll settle for the Assets path in the repository and nav the hard way. That metadata is no longer visible in asset Properties, presuming it ever was and Bard just made it all up.

I see your point and actually makes sense to me, I think the best you can do for now is to submit this idea as an enhancement, you can do it here (https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager-ideas/idb-p/adobe-experien...) Who knows, maybe you are lucky and they put them in their roadmap  

But if you really need this functionality, I think what you want is doable, there is a whole API for the omnisearch that you can check on: https://developer.adobe.com/experience-manager/reference-materials/6-5/javadoc/com/adobe/granite/omn...

That's funny, because i asked Bard this question, specifically about version 6.5.15, and it seems to have completely made up the functionality WHICH WOULD BE AWESOME IF REAL.

The point being it's hard to tell whether Bard is making stuff up or it's reading documentation about functionality that's been removed in more recent versions.

Bard:

To see an asset's location in the content tree in Adobe Experience Manager Assets version 6.5.15, you can follow these steps:

1. Click on the search result for the asset that you want to see the location of.
2. In the asset details dialog, click on the Content Tree tab.
3. The content tree will show you the location of the asset in the repository.

Here is an example of how to see an asset's location in the content tree:

1. Search for the asset "my-asset.jpg".
2. Click on the search result for "my-asset.jpg".
3. In the asset details dialog, click on the Content Tree tab.
4. The content tree will show you that the asset "my-asset.jpg" is located in the folder "/content/my-site/assets".
