Lead generation Strategy

We have integrated all the products of Marketing cloud (Campaign Classic/AAM/AEM/AT & AA) with our site and CRM as Salesforce which is not integrated with the website, we are planning our lead strategy and considering salesforce to manage and scoring of the leads .

To generate lead from our website should i go with option 1 or option 2? 

1) Integrate AEM directly with Salesforce and send the lead details also lead duplication logic will be handled in Salesforce

2) Campaign Integration with AEM is already in place, also Campaign is integrated with Salesforce. So lead will be sent to campaign first and after removing the duplicate leads in workflow all the leads will be sent to Salesforce.
