Track seconds for a video

Hi,

  We are using Sitecatalyst Omniture’s media module to track analytics for YouTube in our website.

Our requirement is to report data every 15 seconds, which we are able to achieve with the help of the configuration s.Media.trackSeconds = 15;

However, when reporting data every 15 seconds, we are required to capture a variable whose value identifies which segment it is, similar to 1:M:0-15 in case percentage milestones are tracked.

I have gone through the media module documentation(https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/sc/appmeasurement/video/), but could not find a way to do it.

Request your inputs if the above requirement can be achieved with out-of-the-box media module implementation or not.

Thanks for the information Shekhar.

I have implemented in a similar way as mentioned in the documentation by you.

My specific requirement is, while tracking seconds, will "media.segment" hold any data(because i dont see any value)? similar to tracking percentage milestones, media.segment holds value 1:M:0-15.

Alternatively, can we have a custom implementation for "media.segment" value? Please point me to documentation if any.

Thanks in advance.
