User feedback whether captured via Omniture Survey or some other third party solution is nothing new. However text mining and sentiment analysis while notoriously complex is a huge growth area for the future.
Omniture are missing a trick by not moving into the unstructured text analytics market - they are well placed to integrate something of this nature for the analysis and visualization of verbatim/textual (voice of customer) feedback from their own and other online survey solutions.
Visualizations could range from a simple word cloud tool that overlays color to convey an attribute such as satisfaction or NPS score etc through to advanced text clustering and sentiment analysis tools
