Hi
In the external account configuration in ACS, I'm only able to set up remote SFTP connection using username and password. Is there a way to establish the connection using ssh private key instead? Any help is appreciated.
thanks

Hi Michelle,
I did this for Adobe hosted SFTP so I'm assuming that it's do able for external SFTP.
You have to open a ticket with Adobe Support and ask them to set it up for you. You will need to provide them a ssh public key and IP that will be used to connect to the SFTP.
They need to authorize the campaign server with the SFTP server using a SSH key pair from the backend. Once this step is completed, you will be able to use the SFTP as an external account in workflow activities.
Thanks
David

David's response is correct. Please submit a request to Adobe Campaign Support and we'll get the key installed.

Hi Craig,
This can now be done from campaign control panel, right? Moreover, the SFTP that comes with Adobe Campaign standard also can be connected using a private key only. How do we request that to be set up with Adobe if we wish to extract data from Adobe Campaign Standard and transfer it to the default SFTP that comes with Adobe Campaign Standard and is visible in control panel?
Thanks in advance

Hi Rakhu,
You should be able to do this already as the Adobe SFTPs are a selection in the extract file workflow component. You will need to generate your SSH private/public keys which can be done by running the ssh-keygen command in GitHub or use PuTTYgen and then load your Public key into ACS via the control panel.
Then use WinSCP to connect to and access the Adobe SFTP account.

Mike
