Conditional Content - if/else statements with "starts with"

Hi,

I'm trying to create a conditional content within my email, but rather than state every single value in the system, I wanted to do something like "if recipient.email starts with 'i' ) { show a picture of an "I" or something.  I can't seem to figure out how to write the statement to evaluate the database attribute with "starts with".  Can someone help?

Hi,

This is relying on JavaScript syntax. For example: rcp.firstName.startsWith(“Flo”)
