How to add Guided Landing Page Templates to our Marketo?

Hello - Trying to understand how to add guided landing page templates to our Marketo such as this one? Template 5A | Adobe Marketo Engage

I hit the download template in the article, but it pulls the landing page up as a preview. Is there a way to have this added into our Design Studio, or does it require a web designer to build.

Hi,

To get Guided Landing Page templates into Design Studio, you must have them built (or adapted) by a web developer or someone with HTML/CSS + Marketo Guided LP knowledge.

as a technical flow;

A web designer / Marketo developer:

• Takes the template code (HTML, CSS, JS)

• Uses Marketo Guided LP syntax: to create text / image / form / variable

Then create a new template in Design Studio → Landing Pages → New → Guided Landing Page

• Paste and validate the code

• Publish the template

Only after this does it appear in Design Studio for marketers to use.

On Simple word: Marketo article templates open as previews only. To add them to Design Studio, the template code must be copied or recreated and saved as a Guided Landing Page template in Marketo.

If you really want to create the same article page then follow below;

1. Right click on the landing page and click view page source. Now you will see the code for the Landing page (Ref; below image)

 

2. Create a new Landing page template in Design studio in Marketo

3. Paste the code in the Marketo Landing page template in Design studio

4. Then Select Preview Draft

Now the template can be viewed in Marketo.
