Hello, operators with Campaign Managers access rights can start, stop any campaign workflows right? Similarly workflow execution rights enable you to start and stop any workflows which are not Campaign workflows?

Hi @Sanjana12 ,

Operator who is in 'Campaign managers' Operator group, can start, stop and restart any workflows, either a technical workflow (If the operator has access to workflow folder) or a campaign workflows).

But, Operator who is in 'Workflow execution' Operator group (considering this operator is not part of any other group), he can start, stop and restart ONLY technical workflows (workflows which are created inside a workflow folder) and the operator cannot start stop or restart a Campaign workflow. Because this operator won't be having access to /Administration/Production/Objects created automatically/Campaign workflows/

Workflows created inside a campaign will be stored in /Administration/Production/Objects created automatically/Campaign workflows/ folder.

By default, Campaign managers will have access to this folder and Workflow executor won't be having access to it. This is the reason why campaign managers can start campaign workflow and why Workflow executor can't start it.

Hello @Sanjana12,

campaign manager has name right of workflow. If operator can see the cmapaign workflow they would be able to start it

Normally not.

But if they have right to create workflow folder and make it view. they can find any campaign workflow and possibly start/stop it

EDIT: I looked at the rights for  'Campaign workflows' folder and it is assigned to Campaign managers (operation) only. So they might see the workflow in view but will not be able to run it
