Adobe Campaign with PostgreSQL - alternatives to PGPool for managing DB clusters

Hello everyone,

we use PostgreSQL as database for our Adobe Campaign installation. Since we have a DB cluster, we use PGPool on top to manage the cluster itself.

We are trying to update PostgreSQL to version 14 and PGPool to version 4.4 from version 4.1, but unfortunately we are experiencing a compatibility issue: Campaign doesn't work properly with PostgreSQL 14 and PGPool version 4.4. It does work with PostgreSQL 14 and PGPool version 4.1, but we are worried about not using a recommended PGPool version and are thus trying to explore other options beside PGPool to manage database clusters.

Does anyone use a DB cluster of PostgreSQL 14 with Adobe Campaign? If so, could you please kindly tell us which tool you use to manage the cluster itself?

Thanks in advance!
