Segment for Selected List of URLs

Avatar

Level 3

Hi,

We want to create the dashboard/report for selected 100 urls which we have taken from the site. Is there anyway rather than manually selecting under the segment level? Can we import only the selected URLs(in a excel sheet) and take report?

As Shane pointed out look at SAINT classifications.

In this case you have a prop or evar for URL

Define a Sub class for it like URL group as an example.

Then download classification template for given prop/evar.

Using excel pick your desired urls(in key column) then in 2nd column add new grouping.

Upload and wait a few hours next day..

You will then be able to segment , even pull a report-let from GUI on this new Classification. New URLs, edits, can be uploaded in future as needed.

@RP08 - The best and the recommended option is to use Classifications. You can classify all those URLs into a dummy value - and then segment based on the classification - it just requires one time effort but it'll be very easy both in terms of usage and performance.

Thanks!
