Report not refreshing after getting report using schedule function in Report builder

Hi, everyone.

 

I have a question regarding an issue with the Excel report generated using Report Builder.

I scheduled a report from an Excel file that was last refreshed on March 11, 2025, setting it to send every day. However, the PDF report I received on March 13 still contained data from March 11, 2025.

According to the official documentation, if a schedule is set, the entire report should be automatically refreshed before being sent. Based on this, I expected to receive data from March 13 automatically.

Even considering possible delays, the report should at least contain data from March 12, but since it still includes data from March 11, I am wondering if this is the intended behavior of the scheduling feature or if there is an issue.

As a test, I manually used "Send Now" on March 14, expecting to receive the latest data. However, the report still contained data from March 11.

I checked the options but could not find any settings related to scheduling. How can I fix this issue?

Summary:

The report received through scheduling is not refreshed to the latest date but instead sends data from the last manually refreshed date.

Hi @Yijuwan ,

I'd check for the report dates used, it feels like your report is set with a fixed end date as 11-Mar, what you need is a rolling end date like today/yesterday for the report to update on daily basis.

Is what you mean that the data block is set by fixed date?

Nope, all data block is set by rolling date.
