Is there a guide on understanding the new data warehouse view?

I was struggling to understand how to create new segments/use existing ones in conjunction with metrics of my choosing, and setting date ranges and furthermore sending the email with the data. Is there any tutorial out there?

I don't have the new UI yet, nor have I seen any documentation on it...

 

Given the number of posts about it (and issues people have encountered) I am starting to get a little worried.

 

If you don't find anything and no one else posts, I will try to come back after I have had a chance to use it and see if I can support.
