How to know the Data Processing location for Adobe Analytics?

Hi Team,

Could you please help me in how to know the current Data Processing location for Adobe Analytics?

I know from the below mentioned documentation that Data processing locations currently reside in the United States (Oregon), the United Kingdom (London), and Singapore. But, how to know the specific location of data processing for our website domain and can we configure to have data processing in the specific data processing location only to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Thanks in advance!

@YV_48 Try to check internally with Admin/s in your organization, it should be mentioned in the contract. If you still don't find it, please raise a support ticket.

Hello @YV_48,

According to the Whitepaper on Adobe Analytics Security Overview, Customers can configure data collection for their report suites to use the Edge site that is closest to each website visitor’s location or restrict collection to the Edge sites in their preferred region (US, Europe, or Asia). But the data processing will happen in Core Sites and you cannot configure the Core Site. Oregon Core Site for U.S Customers, London for E.U Customers, and Singapore for Asia customers.

Thanks @Krishna_Musku for the update. Could you please help me:

  • how to configure or restrict the Edge site to be a region specific in Report Suite (are there any steps to configure the same from our side or do we need to reach Adobe for the same)?
  • And, as I understood from the white paper that London will be the Core Site for EU customers, is this default Location for Data processing for EU customers or do we need to request Adobe to make London as Data Processing Site for all EU Customers?

Thanks in advance!

@YV_48 I have never used this option, as per my knowledge and whitepaper, Core Sites are default for customers based on their region. I tried searching for how to configure the Edge Site for report suite, but couldn't find anything. Can you reach to Adobe Support Team? Thank you!
