How to implement Adobe Analytics for Desktop Applications

I'm trying to implement Adobe Analytics for Desktop based Windows and Mac Apps. Do we have any helper documents or links which I can refer to implement the same?

I think the Data Insertion API is the only option unless you find a ready to go SDK that officially does not exist from what I know.
