Event_List - Downstream Data

Hi All,

I'm having trouble understanding the event_list dimension in Adobe downstream data. On this page: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/analytics/export/analytics-data-feed/data-feed-contents/d... it says it should be events 1-1000 that are customized. However, we see events like 200 something and 100 something and that doesn't make sense to me. We only have events between 1-100. Here is a screenshot of what we see.

Thanks!

Hi @skatofiabah
in your data feeds, the "event.tsv" serves as a lookup table for any kind of event that includes cart events, instances of eVars, plus the standard success events you have in your analytics setup.

At first it looks a little confusing but think of it as a database table where the first column is just an ID / increment, and your custom events only start from 200+
In your data feeds' event_list you will then see references to these IDs instead, for instance

105: Instance of eVar6
242: Custom Event 43

Hope that helps

Hi @bjoern__koth,

Thanks for this. Are you able to share with me where that events.tsv file is and how I can open it in excel or something? And also, 100s are instances of the 10's digits and 200s are events of the 10s digits?

Hi @skatofiabah

you will get it generated when you create a data feed, once it is exported.

You can also send me a DM with your email and I can send it you via mail.

Hi @bjoern__koth,

I just sent you a DM and also I'm in the "Internal URL Filters" section like your screenshot above, but I don't know what you mean in the first half of your last response.
