Does flow track user journeys when a user isn't clicking through page links to navigate a website?

For adobe analytics, does the flow chart record a user journey where they browse through the site by inputting different URLs instead of clicking on a link on the page. Ex: going from reddit.com/r/AskReddit to to the homepage by inputting reddit.com instead of clicking the home page logo.

Yes, Adobe looks at each hit by the identified user and the timestamp of the hit... So if a user is bouncing between multiple tabs, the flow can get a little "wonky".

  • Tab 1 - Page 1
  • Click to open Page 2 in a new tab
  • Tab 2, Page 3
  • Tab 2, Page 4
  • Back to Tab 1, Page 5
  • Open a new tab directly, open Page 6
  • Tab 3, type in URL directly to Page 7
  • Go to bookmarks, open Page 8

The pages will show in the above flow, so in "Tab 1" the user was on Page 1, then did stuff in other tabs and clicked through from Tab 1 Page 1 to Page 5 (the flow will still show Page 4 > Page 5 - but the Activity Map data will show Page 1 as the previous page).

Some of these flows can get a little strange to follow in-depth.
