Do CSV imports to Analytics have specific requirements?

Hi,

the Czech support number is not working so I'm trying my luck here.

We're trying a solution to get data from Exponea to Adobe Analytics.

We can get json with event properties to an on-line service that would build a csv file for import to Adobe Analytics.

Are there any specific requirements for us to have in mind?

Thanks.

Also please tell the Czechs their number isn't working.

Are you trying to import data into Adobe Analytics ?

Is it taking data from Exponea to Adobe Analytics so basically you want to do data insertion of data ?

You can use Data Insertion API Overview | Adobe Developer Connection

You can also Data Source Data Sources Template

Or

You have an ID in Adobe analytics and you want to upload a lookup file from Exponea to Adobe Analytics?

Solution: Classifications Classifications

Do you want to link Visitors across solutions ?

So depending of what you want to obtain, there are different requirements.

Thanks, Alexis.

We're exploring the structured tsv route because Tableau should be able to read it too.

I would only wish to receive better specifications.

If you need to import Adobe analytics data in Tableau, Daexus built a free web data connector.

  • no sign-up required
  • no download
  • ultra secure as data doesn't go through external server - from Adobe Analytics straight to your computer.

To access it, paste the link in Tableau and start brining your data.

The paid version enables date expressions and automated data imports.

Access the link on their website
