If sending both Website and Mobile App data to the same report suite, giving the default time-out rules are different in both channels (30 mins on Web, vs. 5 mins on App), do we need to set the same time-out rule for both channel? If so, then how can we re-set it? Thank you.
You should be able to change the session timeout for your mobile app in the Mobile App Core extension in Adobe Launch.
I would thoroughly test changes in an isolated environment before changing settings though, just to be safe that there aren't negative impacts to the change.
