Automatically Hide the Left Hand Rail in Analytics

Avatar

Level 2

Hi,

My organization has a few, basic Workspaces displayed on a large screen in the office. We use a browser plugin to cycle through and "hard refresh" the tabs containing the Workspace reports.

One thing I've noticed lately is that the left hand rail (that contains Dimensions, Metrics, Segments, and Date Ranges) will automatically open and dock itself after a hard refresh of the browser tab has occurred. This causes less then optimal display of the Workspaces on our big screen. In the past, proactively hiding the left hand rail kept that area hidden no matter what so I think this change is recent.

Any advice?

How about creating a custom stylesheet to hide all the stuff you don't want, using the Stylus extension?

You can hide elements on the page outright, and not just have them minimized.
