Advanced Segmentation using number of Page Views viewed

Hi all,

I am needing some help on creating a segment based on a Visit or Visitor viewing a certain page a number of times.  

I haven't been able to find a reg expression option in Segment Builder to indicate that a segment can be defined by a Hit equaling a certain page, but also viewing that page X amount of times.  

Is it possible to build out this type of segment?

The segment builder does not support RegEx at this time, but you should be able to set a visit container with the criteria within where the given page value was viewed X amount of times. If you have more complicated parameters than that potentially nested containers or sequential segmentation can accomplish.

Thanks for your response Brian.  Where in the Segment Builder can you set that a page value was viewed X amount of times?  

I have pasted an image within Adobe Analytics/SC.

You are on the right track- keep on adding separate containers with equals condition per how many times you need the page to be viewed and you should be set.

Compare with the finalized segment filtered against the full paths report to verify your results.

Hi Brian,

I think I'm understanding what you're saying.  Building the Visit Container with multiple nests is like a work around to using Reg Ex unavailable.  

In the example I attached below, I've nested two more Pages, to define a segment that the Visit must have visited that certain same Page 3 times.  But does this exclude the visits that have hit that same Page 4,5 or 6 times?

See attached logic- make sure to end with an exclude condition container to 'cap' your page view hits conditions to only 3 times within a visit.
