Adobe Analytics: Metric "Orders (purchase event)"

What is metric "Orders (purchase event)" representing (in case of online shop)? Imagine in a Visit 5 Products are ordered/bought (User adds 5 Products to cart and buys them). Does the metric counts "5" or "1"?

    Orders would be the number of times a distinct transaction or purchase ID was recorded.  So five products with on transaction ID would be 1 order.  The metric units would answer how many total units were in the order.
