Thanks for the idea submission! Just FYI, there is a pretty good workaround for this. Set up a Virtual Report Suite and use the new curation capabilities during setup to rename your dimensions and metrics to business-friendly titles, and then expose this Virtual Report Suite to your end users so they can see the friendlier names.
Yea, I know. That was my thought as I saw the new feature. But we always need to label metric/variable with different words, they depend on reports, stakeholders, or analysis we have.
In other words, it's not just a matter of kind of user, but mainly a matter of kind of analysis.
Today we have to create many clones of the same metrics in order to have user-friendly label for each specific analysis, but that makes a lot of mess in our metrics list, and the only option is to use TAGS for group metrics by analysis.
