Search in Trended Reportlets for Dashboards

I was trying to construct a dashboard that had trended data based on a search.  Unfortunately, SiteCatalyst interprets the top five trended videos as something I've specified (where it says "Selected Items: User-Identified").  This causes the reportlet to think that I want the same five videos each period rather the top five videos based on the search.  It would be really helpful if the trended report would recognize the search each time period.
