Give us a metric that helps us see page download time

Google Analytics offers their customers this metric for free. They have a "page download time" metric that helps understand whether customers left your site because there was a long page download time. Banners, ads etc cause these delays. Even a heavy coded page. However, Omniture says we would have to pay a consultant to audit this. This is crucial measurement that should be delievered for free.
