Give us a Freeform workspace that produces a flat list report using more than one dimension.

Description - I've had to get creative with Adobe implementation support team to break our campaigns down into multiple evars to combine them back into different combinations to be able to produce a flat list report. Back in the "Omniture" days there were no limitations like this.

Why is this feature important to you - FreeForm Workspace only has the ability to have one dimension that I then break down into a hierarchy report. But when using this as the only feature for large campaigns with up to 4 parameters this results in hundreds of reports that would have to be downloaded individually. It's not functional or usable and my company reporting depends almost solely on reporting for these marketing campaigns. It is a HUGE limitation for your company to impose on a customer.

How would you like the feature to work - Be able to pull in at least 5 dimensions to produce a flat list report in a freeform workspace instead of being limited to hierarchy reports.

Current Behaviour - freeform workspace has a limitation of using one dimension to produce hierarchy reports.

It seems like that you talked about mixed dimension, which is already a thing.

Of course, it works only with dimensions items. But you might be able to work something out.

Check here under 'Mixed dimension items' for more info: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/analytics-platform/using/cja-workspace/visualizations/freefo...

Thank you Christou for the feedback. So I looked at the article but it does not say how to pull in more than one dimension for a "mixed" dimension. When I pull in my first dimension and then try to pull in another with it, it comes back with the "replace" and just replaces my first dimension. I also tried shift clicking and pulling in two at a time which doesn't work. What am I missing?

You need to bring in the dimension values, not the dimensions themselves!

Click on the arrow at the end of a dimension. It will show you the values that this dimension assumed in the past 6 months. You can then select and drag & drop the dimension items into a table. You can do the same for a different dimension, which will be added in the table, instead of replacing. You end up getting 'Mixed Dimension Items' in the same "level" of the table.

Thank you Christou I will try this and see if it gives me what I need. However, based on the explanation I don't think it will. What I want is to bring in multiple dimensions with added metrics and then download the data, open as excel and sort my data based on dimension columns.
