Thank you for this idea. We are working actively on additional nav improvements that will be better than both the current navigation and the previous navigation. We are currently in user testing, and if you would like to participate please feel free to email me (ben@adobe.com). We will not be simply reverting back to the previous navigation, in part because our feedback shows that, although it was familiar, few users viewed that as the ideal navigation experience for Adobe Analytics.
We will not be going back to the old flyout menus; that is not on the table for consideration. However, as I'm sure you've seen we just released a new navigation which was based on collective feedback from many of our users, analysis of the data we collect on usage, and a number of usability tests with many of you and your peers. Given this process, we're confident that the overwhelming majority of users will benefit from this new navigation. Of course we encourage you to open separate ideas for individual points of feedback on the new navigation.
