Dashboard Custom Reportlet with averages

Hi,

I was trying to create a dashboard reportlet for page views for the current month and another reportlet with the same page views for the last 3 months so that i can compare the two. However, it would be ideal for my comparison if i could get the average of the last 3 months or 6 months (based of requirements) instead of the total page views for the period mentioned.

the Same feature would be awesome for other metrics like "Orders" or custom events...
