Change Date Format to something that can be recognised by Excel

Currently, when running reports at a 'daily' granularity, the date format when downloaded (into .csv or .excel) appears as e.g. "Nov  1, 2011".

This format is very problematic when dealing with reports in Excel and always requires a transformation.  It should instead be populated in a format that Excel could recognise as a date.

This is particularly an issue when extracting Data Warehouse reports, where one is likely to have many rows per single date and it is therefore more time-consuming to transform into actual dates.

Thanks,

Tim.

Hi Gigazelle,

This request is marked as delivered, but it specifically mentioned Data Warehouse and it seems like the new admin setting has no impact on Data Warehouse exports. Any chance this might be reopened and the issue with DW export addressed?

Best,

Floriana
